Blacklist MonitoringComing soon

When a mail server lands on a blacklist, your email quietly goes to spam or bounces. Blacklist monitors will check your IPs and domains against the major lists and warn you the moment you are listed.

⏳We are building this monitor now. It is already in the app's Add Monitor dialog and becomes available there as soon as it is ready. Create a free account to hear first.

Why it matters

Blacklists are how the mail world protects itself from spam: a server that sends spam — or just looks like it does — is added to a public list, and other servers start refusing its mail. It happens to honest businesses too, after one compromised account or a newsletter sent to an old list.

The trouble is that nobody tells you. Invoices and password resets stop arriving and you find out days later from an annoyed customer. Blacklist monitoring will check your addresses regularly and alert you the moment you are listed, so you can request delisting the same day.

What it will check

The plan for the first release. Every check will be stored in a full log, like all Upzilla monitors.

Questions about Blacklist Monitoring

When will Blacklist Monitoring be available?

We are building it now; most new monitors arrive before the new year. Create a free account and you will hear when it is ready.

What is an email blacklist?

A public list of IP addresses or domains that have sent spam. Mail servers consult these lists and reject or filter mail from anything on them.

How do I get removed from a blacklist?

Fix the cause first — a compromised account, an open relay, a bad mailing list — then request removal on the list's own website. Most lists remove you within hours.

What can I use today?

Mail Server Monitoring and the SMTP, POP3 and IMAP monitors already check that your mail servers are up and accepting mail.
