Transaction MonitoringComing soon

Your home page can be up while nobody can log in or pay. Transaction monitors will walk through your key journeys step by step, like a real customer, and tell you exactly where they break.

⏳We are building this monitor now. It is already in the app's Add Monitor dialog and becomes available there as soon as it is ready. Create a free account to hear first.

Why it matters

Uptime checks ask a simple question: does the page answer? Revenue depends on a harder one: can a person actually sign up, log in, find a product and pay? A broken payment script, an expired API key at the shipping provider or a cookie banner that hides the "Buy" button all leave the site "up" and the shop empty.

Transaction monitors will repeat your most important journeys on a schedule, step by step, and report which step failed, what the page showed and how long each step took.

What it will check

The plan for the first release. Every check will be stored in a full log, like all Upzilla monitors.

Every step

Each click, form and page of the journey checked in order.

Where it broke

The failing step, with the error and what the page showed.

Step timing

How long each step takes, so slow-downs show up before failures.

Text and elements

Confirm the right content appears — "Order confirmed", not an error.

Until then: API Monitoring

API Monitoring can already check the requests behind your login and checkout.

How it will work

Set up like every other Upzilla monitor, in a few minutes.

Record the journey

The steps a customer takes: open, fill in, click, confirm.

Choose how often

Run it on a schedule from several locations.

Know which step failed

An alert that names the step, not just "the site is down".

Who it is for

Online shops

Cart and checkout, the journey that pays the bills.

SaaS products

Sign-up and login, the first thing a new customer tries.

Booking forms

Reservations and appointments that must go through.

After every release

Catch a broken journey minutes after a deploy.

Alerts where your team already is

The same alert channels as every Upzilla monitor, as many as you like.

Questions about Transaction Monitoring

When will Transaction Monitoring be available?

We are building it now. Most of the new monitors arrive before the new year — create a free account to hear first.

How is it different from uptime monitoring?

An uptime check confirms a page answers. A transaction check goes through several pages and actions in order, like a user, and fails if any of them does not work.

Can it check a page behind a login?

That is the point of it: the journey can sign in first and check what only a signed-in user sees.

What can I use today?

API Monitoring can already check the requests your login and checkout rely on, and Uptime Monitoring can confirm each page answers with the right content.
